Several years ago Jerzy Zuba, a Sanok native, wrote a small history book
about the gmina Bukowsko in wojewodztwo Krosno which included information about all the villages in
the gmina. When I bought my copy (no longer in print) I couldn't read much and I
thought it was a shame that this book existed but that most people who would
really benefit from the book couldn't read it since it was in Polish.
I decided the book needed to be translated and reprinted. It seemed to take
forever to get permission from the publisher to do this but I did.
During the editing process I realized that some important information was left
out of the original book so I added a few bits and pieces. I also added a
glossary. The original book contained a number of black and white photos which I
reproduced plus I added a few of my own. I added my own introduction. The book
was photocopied with heavier cover pages with plastic over those cover pages.
The cover is in color but the photographs in the book are still in black and
white and I used a "comb" to bind the book. There are 122 single sided pages.
