Father Piotr Halak from the parish of Gręboszowa started this parish. The parish dates back to 1925. Prior to that, the village had a temporary chapel attached to an orphanage that had been operating since 1905, around, which the religious life of the future parishioners centered. Construction of the parish church in Zalipie began in 1939, but due to the war, it was not completed until 1949. In the second half of the 1970s, a new rectory was built next to the church. The parish is supplied with nuns from the Sister Servants of Mary.
