**** Elevator
The hotel room cost included breakfast and internet. Parking was 25 złoty per night in a locked lot.
The buffet offered scrambled and hard boiled eggs, several different types of kielbasa, hams, meats, cheeses, three kinds of cottage cheese, three kinds of pasztet, breads, rolls, dry cereals, fruits including watermelon, tomatoes with onions, juices, cakes, bacon and kaszanka. Guests got their own coffee from ONE coffee machine. That's a real problem at breakfast when the restaurant is full.
It was obvious that this hotel and probably others in the area had clientčle who liked the outdoors and/or spas; tourists.
The hotel is surrounded by woods and sits on Lake Necko.
The room was very nice and the bathroom was one of the three best in Poland (that I've been in). The shower had two shower heads and one was actually plumbed through the wall. Most showers in Poland have hand-held showers which are plumbed through the bathtub faucet. The sprayer is placed in a holder which is mounted to the wall at an arbitrary height. There was also a tiled "bench" in the shower and a decent vanity ledge around the sink. The room also had a fridge, plenty of mirrors and storage, a desk, TV, phone, plenty of lights and a first - An overabundance of electrical outlets! It also had a hospital table/tray for your computer use anywhere in the room. Kind of nifty. The bathroom was a bit small but quite functional.

**** No elevator.
Breafast buffet on our table included Brie, goat cheese and other cheeses, tomatoes, watermelon, salmon (lox), pastries, great rolls, bread, butter, dzam, yogurt, and juice.
No air conditioning
Good in house restaurant with exotic fare
Our room at the Habenda Hotel had two beds, a couch, table, 2 night stands, desk with refrigerator, chair, closet and plenty of lighting. The bathroom was very modern with plenty of shelf space but the shower didn't have any place to put shampoo, etc. One pillow on each bed with a chocolate on top. A pierzyna was our quilt. The windows opened at the top or the side. Debbie Greenlee (25/APR/2014)

*** This was a very nice hotel, being brand new. The staff was incredibly nice and even the waitresses could speak a little English. We ended up changing hotels though because in my haste to make a reservation I didn't realize that breakfast and parking were not included in the room rate. Debbie Greenlee (10/JAN/2011)

** This hotel offered free WiFi , free parking and breakfast was included.
This hotel has a bowling alley and disco.
This hotel only has one floor.
The buffet did have coffee, tea, yogurt with fruit, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, two fresh breads (wonderful), ham, cheeses, including Brie, sage and blue cheese, sausages, chicken in aspic (big in Poland), salad, egg salad, sliced meats, cherries, oranges, dry cereals, ham wrapped asparagus.
It was a fairly new hotel though difficult to find because it was located behind some big commercial buildings; one might have been a school.
Parking was not locked or guarded.
Air conditioning was not very good.
The maid only emptied the trash, added a roll of toilet paper, opened the window (on the ground floor!). Beds had not been changed or even straightened and the towels were not changed. Nothing was cleaned.

* Room cost included breakfast.
Buffet breakfast or scrambled eggs.
The room had three beds, a bathroom with a shower, closet, table with four chairs, a night stand and two HD TVs. One TV sat on a shelf which was supported by two ice chests. What this space lacked was room and some flat surfaces. We didn't have anywhere to open our suitcases and nowhere to set things in the bathroom. The room was in a dormer at the top of the stairs. I made a note that if I ever had to stay in Gorlice again, I wouldn't, as this was the best place I could find on the Internet. Debbie Greenlee (22/SEP/2011)

**  Parking is free and is monitored (cameras).
Breakfast was from a menu with two choices. I have to say that for 15 złoty the food was a bit skimpy. We ordered Zestaw 1 (Meal 1) which consisted of tea or coffee, breads, butter, cheese, thinly sliced ham, scrambled eggs, sliced tomatoes and sliced cucumbers.
The cost of breakfast is not included in the room cost.
Unless you requested it, the hotel did not clean your room nor change the towels daily. You have to read about our stay at this hotel in my Trip Diary.

**** Breakfast included in room price.
The breakfast buffet consisted of a dessert table (I just happened to see that first), soups, cold meats and cheeses, breads, rolls, sweet rolls, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh fruit, cereals, an omelet station, scrambled eggs, bacon, two kinds of weiners, nalesniki, coffee, tea, juices, butter, jelly.
Hotel has elevators.
The hotel is less than a year old and has THE best air conditioning in Poland.
Our room included a big shower, good "work" space in the bathroom and good lighting. The bedroom included two beds, desk and chair, two stuffed chairs and a table, two night stands, fridge, closet with shelves that lit up when you opened the doors, TV, phone, hair dryer, plenty of lighting, clothes brush, liquid soap and shampoo but no facial tissues.

**** Elevator, air conditioning. No charge for underground garage parking if you’re a long-term guest. We stayed 6 nights. Short term parking was 20 złoty a day.
Hotel is a micro-brewery.
Breakfast buffet included in the room rate and was 7-11 a.m. Decent hours! The breakfast buffet selections included scrambled eggs, cooked red peppers (paprika) and tomatoes with sausages, meats, cheeses, prepared salads (not ones with lettuce), kielbasa, dry cereals, bread, coffee and juice.
Spacious room and large modern bathroom. Coffee service in the room and free bottled water. TV, phone, free WiFi, sofa and desk. Toiletries, hair dryer but no facial tissue.
Very near rynek, museums and other restaurants.
The garage is under the hotel and the driveway is very steep, like a ski slope with only a sidewalk between it and the narrow street.
Laundry service available but it is sent out so it’s expensive. Desk clerks and waiters speak English. Had to ask for the air conditioning to be fixed. Receptionists speak English.

**** Elevator, air conditioning, free WiFi, in-room safe, coffee service, sofa, desk, phone, alarm clock, TV, hair dryer, toiletries including facial tissue, iron and board, breakfast buffet included in room rate. Breakfast buffet until 10:00 a.m. weekdays, 11:00 a.m. weekends. Large buffet but only ONE coffee machine. Toaster! Parking now costs 60 złoty a night but you have to park in the lot for the Double Tree by Hilton which means you have to walk through the Doubletree with your luggage to the Hampton Inn. Just OK air conditioning. Large, modern room and bathroom but short on drawers/shelves for clothes, etc. One luggage rack and no rubber tub mat. We used Hilton points to pay for our room. Not close to restaurants, except Doubletree next door. We were given a handicap room so perhaps regular rooms are not as large. Receptionists speak English. Mall that was across parking lot has been torn down and something else is going up in its place.

Booked through Hilton web site.

I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.

*** Free WiFi and free breakfast and free locked parking.
Breakfast consisted of instant coffee, tea, orange juice, breads, cereals, yogurt, poppy seed cake, one mixed salad, cottage cheese with celery and red peppers, "deviled" eggs, hams, kielbasa, brie, two other cheeses, pickles, butter, jam and eggs to order.
Good air conditioning!
The room had two beds, desk, 2 chairs, 2 night stands, 2 little tables, TV, phone, fridge with cheap snacks (!), and the typical closet with shelves. The bathroom had a tub with a hand-held shower and a shower curtain. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of shelf space, hair dryer and a bidet. The windows, like most in Poland are hung so they can open from the side or the top. The curtains in this room were too thin to keep out any light. Had hair dryer, shampoo and soap, Kleenex.
The rooms are not fancy but they are functional and you do have to walk up steps. The air conditioning is so good, this pensjonat received a star just for that!

Breakfast and parking in the back were included in the price.
Typical Polish buffet breakfast.
We checked into a suite (and I use that term loosely) that had two rooms with a total of four beds and a small bathroom.
Hotel Szelców had roller shades on the windows instead of just lace curtains, which is a step in the right direction.

**** Amenities included (almost all hotels had TVs, phones and internet): stocked mini-bar, safe, wine glasses, slippers, sewing kit, shower cap, individual shower gels, shampoo, soap, shoe cloth, cosmetic kit, shower curtain (seldom seen in Poland), bidet, sitting room, three phones (including one in bathroom), heavy curtains. The bathroom was really large and had two doors. We received 10% off meals in the hotel and a free aperitif which we later realized was mistranslated and should have read, appetizer. Breakfast was included in the price of our room.
It included the typical Polish fare but no hot eggs. There was lox, pasztet, Nutella (a first), and hard boiled eggs presented in a very large bowl full of salt. The eggs were still in their shell.
It's a more expensive hotel but a nice old one.
We knew this hotel had an elevator so we were looking forward to using it. What we didn't know was that the hotel had been renovated since we were here in 1998. The hotel does not have a parking lot but if there's space you can park right in front of the hotel.
This hotel is typical of the fancy hotels one sees in old movies. Grand, it is. The halls are dark though with very high walls and the floors creak of thousands of visitors since it opened in 1888. We were very surprised to find that our room was air conditioned and that the furniture was modern. The hotel is on the main pedestrian street in the city.

**** Elevator, air conditioning, bellmen, shop, lounge, restaurant, in-room coffee service, safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, toiletries, facial tissue, TV, iron, ironing board, desk, chairs, small table. Arrange for free bus or Hoppa Bus from airport to this hotel. Hoppa Bus is much more convenient as it takes you directly to hotel door rather than to a bus stop nearby and you can arrange/pay for it from the U.S. via computer. Ride is only 10 minutes using the Hoppa Bus. Everything is expensive but this is London. We don’t have breakfast at the hotel, which is extra, because we eat in the American Airlines’ Admiral’s Club at the airport. They're slowly updating the rooms, be sure to select or ask for an updated room.

** Elevator, free locked parking and free WiFi. Large breakfast buffet included in room rate. In-room coffee service, safe, phone, toiletries (no facial tissue), hair dryer, bathrobes, bidet, TV, sofa, desk. refrigerator. Breakfast until 10 during the week, weekends until 11:00 a.m. included many hot and cold selections including fresh watermelon, peaches, pineapple, oranges, pears, blueberries and grapefruit. Coffee machine slowed things down though. Many prepared salads (not lettuce types) including egg salad, naleśniki, pancakes, scrambled eggs, two sausages, bacon, three different kinds of bread, rolls, cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, several types of ham, olives, pickles, yogurt, four cold cereals with hot milk, four cakes, three juices, honey, and Nutella. Air conditioning works only if key card is left in slot in the room. You need to get two key cards so you can leave one in the slot while you’re out during the day if you want a cool room. *** Modern six floor hotel with an elevator, locked parking (extra 25 złoty per day) and free internet.
Hotel has an elevator.
The breakfast buffet included: fried and scrambled eggs, kielbasa, "hot dogs", ham, cheeses, pasztet, naleśniki, rolls, breads, croissants, salad, fresh fruits, little pancakes with chocolate sauce (!), something in aspic, ogórki, mushrooms, fish, cottage cheese, yogurt, dry cereal, tomatoes, raw carrots and celery, juices, coffee, and tea.
Our room had a little refrigerator, no air conditioning but a nice table fan. There was supposed to be a safe in the room but there wasn't. The parking lot is down six stairs from the side of the hotel but you can roll your luggage to the front door and just roll right in to the elevator. Like most rooms in Poland there was no Kleenex. There was a coffee maker and liquid soap in the bathroom. We had a tub shower but the hand-held shower was mounted on the wall at about 5'6". A bit too short for most people. Hotel is within walking distance of the rynek. Debbie Greenlee (20/SEP/2012)

** Elevator, air conditioning (sort of), garage parking cost 60 złoty per night = outrageous. Free WiFi, safe, TV, hair dryer, phone, refrigerator, radio, toiletries, 4 pieces of facial tissue, free bottled water. Buffet breakfast included in room rate was served until 10:30 weekdays. Items in buffet: bacon, naleśniki and scrambled eggs which weren't even warm; St. Martin's croissants, breads, rolls, cold salads. New hotel but minimalist room, think Holiday Inn Express; tiny/cramped. Had to change rooms as air conditioning didn’t work in the first room and then didn’t work in new room on second day. Hotel provided tablet is used to control things in the room. Bathroom has clear glass walls frosted in strategic locations. No coffee service in room. Free coffee service in lobby sitting area.  Breakfast here is similar to the one at U Pana Cogito in Kraków. Instant coffee, which was actually good, tea, juices, eggs to order, "deviled" eggs, hams, kielbasa, cheeses, sweet rolls, breads, cereals, yogurt, butter, honey and jam.
Built in 2010 and is the newest and nicest hotel in Sanok, but that's not saying much. Mattresses are thick foam rubber and towels are thin. Good lighting in bathroom. The carpeting does not have padding and seems to just be laid on the floor (very few carpets in Poland had padding underneath). I'd say this is an American two star hotel.
It had: two beds, couch, long desk, two chairs, small table, two night stands, fridge, modern TV, phone, closet with shelves and a shelf for one of our suitcases. The bathroom had a shower, liquid soap and shampoo "communal" bottles, two thin bath towels and two thin hand towels, no Kleenex. Our room had a large balcony which was shared by a few rooms. This room did not have enough electrical outlets.

** Restaurant in basement.  Breakfast, WiFi and locked parking is included. We have stayed in this hotel since 1996. It was the best place in town until the owner opened the Hotel Bona. Jagielloński: walk-up steps to front desk, walk down steps to restaurant in basement, walk up to three flights to rooms. Rooms are big, bathrooms a bit small. The people here are very accomodating and a few speak English. But we don't stay here anymore because the place is not being kept up; things aren't being repaired or replaced (lightbulbs, globes) and the number of stairs is an issue with all of our luggage. Room did not have not have a phone, alarm clock, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial tissue or a hair dryer. Breakfast included made-to-order eggs, breads, rolls, weiners, kielbasa, cheese, pate, cereal, fruits, coffee machine and a toaster. None of the decent motels in Sanok have elevators or air conditioning. The rating is based on the comparison to other motels in Sanok. We stayed here for 10 days so our room was better equipped than others but was on an "American" third floor. I think being on the top floor helped with air flow from the balcony door and window. Provided extra pillows I had requested. Room cleaning on request. Laundry service available away from the motel. Our room is shown on the zajazd’s web site, the photo with the kitchenette/counter. Room rate was $40 per day. Zajazd is owned by same people who own the Dworek Sanocki restaurant, two doors down, where you can have lunch and dinner. Receptionists speak English

* The breakfast buffet consisted of hard-boiled eggs, kielbasa, hot dogs, deviled eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cottage cheese with green onions, naleśniki, small sweet rolls, cereal, juices, coffee and tea. You could also order scrambled eggs with ham. The beds had the big, square European pillows which we hadn't seen in a number of years but these were not feather or down rather they were filled with foam. We also noticed that this hotel and the one in Bydgoszcz, both being new, had discovered water softeners. Although this hotel was new, already one knob on the shower door was missing and the rubber strip down the shower door was coming off. A real problem in Poland is the lack of standardization and the difficulty in getting replacement parts. The maid had not cleaned the sink, toilet or shower, had not replaced nor cleaned the glasses and the room hadn't been dusted in some time. We did have clean towels and sheets though.
The beds here were not comfortable. Two story hotel, no elevator.

Breakfast included in the room rate and served until 10:00 a.m. In-room safe, robes, slippers, bottled water, clothes brush, shoe shine brush, small refrigerator, coffee service, large modern room and bathroom, TV, phone, free WiFi, toiletries, sewing kit, shower cap, hair dryer, and facial tissue, desk.
The breakfast offering was buffet-style with eggs made to order. The potato salad was wonderful! The coffee was good too, which is hard to come by as Poles drink kawa normalny (very strong with grounds in the bottom of the cup).
Very near rynek, museums and other restaurants. Laundry service available (two men’s shirts and a pair of jeans = $18). Room had dark curtains which means the sun doesn’t awaken you at 4 a.m. Air conditioning not very good in the room; excellent in the restaurant though. Receptionists speak English.

Breakfast was not supposed to be included according to my reservation but the clerk said it was included, as was the internet and parking.
Nice sized showers.
Breakfast in the hotel which consisted of breads, jellies, Nutella, honey, hard boiled eggs, sandwich meats, tomatoes, cheeses and a selection of machine made coffees. Not a buffet breakfast but enough for us. I compare the breakfast here to a breakfast at Best Western or Comfort Inn hotels in the U.S.
Our room was small and basic but comfortable. It also had air conditioning. The one thing I did not like, and we find it often in Poland, is that the hotel provides liquid soap/shampoo. We prefer bar soap. Located right next to a shopping mall. No restauants within walking distance of the hotel except in the mall. Debbie Greenlee (10/SEP/2012)

**** Convenient location at airport
Great beds
Well soundproofed
Sumptuous, delicious breakfast buffet with many selections: scrambled eggs, bacon, kielbasa, potatoes, tomatoes, pancakes, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, cheeses, herring, salmon, multi-grain breads, croissants, yogurt, juices, tea and coffee. Also open for dinner. Elevator, in-room coffee service, bottled water, refrigerator, TV, phone, toiletries, mini-bar. English language newspapers available at breakfast in restaurant. If you leave prior to the restaurant opening in the morning the hotel will give you a boxed breakfast. Parking was nonexistent due to renovation. But when you could park under the hotel it was very expensive. We never rented our cars until the day we were leaving Warsaw for another part of Poland. This also means that rental cars are not parked under the hotel. Shuttle takes you to the rental car park.
Air conditioning is STILL almost non-existent. Bellmen, baggage carts. Modern hotel with large dining room that seems to only be open for breakfast; other meals available at the café; lounge, dessert bar. Parking is very expensive. Receptionists and waiters speak English. Room rates are not expensive on weekends.

Booked through Marriott’s website.

** Elevator, free parking (not guarded or locked but behind decorative gates), free WiFi, toiletries, desk, TV, sofa, large bathroom, buffet breakfast was included in room rate and consisted of juices, coffee, tea, (loosely) scrambled eggs, two kinds of "hot dogs", breads, rolls, cake, cereal, dried fruit for the cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs with mayonnaise, kielbasa, "cold cuts", fish, cottage cheese with scallions, prepared salads, "something" in aspic. Though air conditioning was advertised, there was none. Need to open windows which brings in flies. Beautiful gardens and restaurant. This is a new "palace" that was built to look old and authentic. Laundry service available. Room rate was inexpensive but not worth the price without air conditioning. This was the newest hotel in Włocławek. Receptionists speak English.

Parking 30 złoty per night in the attached shopping mall garage.
Air conditioning may not be adequate during hot summer weather.
The room has a safe, fridge, WiFi, coffee maker and a nice functional bathroom.
Room is a bit small.
Most hotels only give you two bath towels, two hand towels and a bath mat. The laundries don't use fabric softener. The towels at this hotel are a little thin too. There is one pillow on each bed but an extra one in the closet.  Ate in the shopping mall because hotel was too expensive and no other restaurants within walking distance.

Two beds, small table, "easy" chair, desk, desk chair, two night stands, TV, phone, the closet and a mini-fridge. No drawers but the closet had shelves. A common set-up in Polish hotels. The bathroom was modern but again needed someplace to put shampoo etc. Plenty of shelf space in the bathroom and a towel warmer (common in Polish hotels).
Air conditioning marginally functional.
